The DIG has also given the reasons for the incident. A stampede broke out in Prayagraj Mahakumbh Mela due to increase in crowd before bathing on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya.On a press conference Officials of Mahakumbh Mela DIG Vaibhav Krishna, justified the reasons of stampede in Mahakumbh, officials said that 30 pilgrims died on the way to Mahakumbh Stampede. And 60 people are injured and have been taken to hospital. People injured during the stampede were admitted to different hospitals of the city. The government has issued new guidelines for ration card holders, under which only a few ration card holders will be able to get ration after February 15.


The Government of India runs many schemes for the citizens of the country. Crores of people get  benefits of these schemes from the government. There are many citizens in India which even today are not able to manage even two meals a day.
Such people are provided assistance by the government. Under the National Food Security Act, food and ration is provided at low cost by the Government of India. This scheme is applicable in all the states of the country.
New guidance has been issued by the Government of India, according to which guidance has been issued for ration card holders to get e-KYC done, under which it is necessary for all ration card holders to get e- KYC done, those who do not get e-KYC done, they will not get ration.
Through e-KYC, the government is identifying fake ration card holders and excluding them from this scheme so that those who are really needy can get the benefits of the scheme. If anyone not done eKYC , then get your e-KYC done as soon as possible,for getting the benefit of free ration from the government.
